the night sky out in the open country is so brilliantly lit with stars...JUST stars. the rest of the sky is sooooo dark. ahhhhhhhh! i love it. the pics i took with my mobile, sadly did not turn out. i was really really tired saturday night. i remember elijah talking to me as i lay on the couch in the living room and then, a few hours later, deb, asking me if i was going to sleep on the couch all night long. lol! didn't realize i'd been out like a light for so long! so i went to my bed and slept like a champ.
in the morning we fed the calves, had breakfast, and went to church.
this is the little country church that we went to this morning. twenty people there maybe? i was introduced to everyone there, of course. the service was nice, a good ol' fashion lutheran service.
this here's a sign right outside the farm house. i took it as i was leaving because it says "welcome" and that is exactly how i felt the ENTIRE time there. cheers . . ..
