what's your take on poodles?

i don't mind them. i think they're great dogs...if they're left alone to be great dogs. but owners get to them and carve off all their hair except for the standard puff around each paw, on the end of the tail, and the absolute worst - the feau afro/mane on their heads. i imagine the self esteem of poodles is the lowest of all the dogs. cheers . . ..
