a fantastic time as always. i was soooooo hungry, too. and ingred recommended an english stout that is new to yia yia's. after giving it a whirl, i decided it was good, but not good enough to get again. then...
-i talked briefly with steve, who came in to see me.
-i read from the gospel of john.
-i talked with roark via mobile.
-gave money to a 50 year old man wanting some and i spoke kind words to him. he told me i was the first person to ever say such things to him. i told it saddened me and i hoped he'd hear more kind things and that i hoped to run into him in the future.
-went to scooter's for the first time.
-got a white chocolate mocha.
-was introduced to emily.
-spoke with joie.
-looked at the art on the wall.
-came home and had great conversations with jonathan.
-blogged and went to bed.
cheers . . ..

I was at Scooter's last night but it must have been before you. I think I was there from 6 to sometime after 7. Scooter's is my favorite place to go sit, I will probably go tonight again!
i did miss you by quite a bit megan. i think i stopped in round 10:30 or so. it was the first time i'd been. i like it, but think that i'll continue frequenting the mill and meadowlark.
joie made a comment about the windows and how she likes to watch the sun coming up and the day begin. i hadn't thought of the windows like that, but then again, i had never been inside before. i think it an excellent feature of the scooter's in the haymarket, though.
