well. lent has arrived. this is a good time of year. growing up catholic, i gave up things during this time because it was a ritual you were supposed to do. having grown much as a christian, i understand lent to be much more than simply giving up something i enjoy. and as i was thinking about this both last night and this morning, a thought occured to me.
for the next forty days, what if i am calling people at work and they tell me they've given up telephone surveys for lent? uh-oh. have a swell day. cheers . . ..
