january 2007, done and gone.

what an amazing january!

-new year's eve was one of the better one's i've had.

-i was able to come back to lincoln.

-brittan was in nebraska for a week.

-my sister danced in the half-time show at the capital one bowl.

-boise st beat oklahoma and finished the season undefeated.

-i have a really good job.

-there were at least ten friends' birthdays to celebrate.

-i got my first real bed to sleep in since i was a kid.

-had lunch with my friend andrea.

-i've become okay with past relationships that have caused me stress and worry.

i've been given so much and am so thankful. the lord is shoveling all these blessings upon me and i sometimes wonder if he can even keep up with himself. things are really good now. i feel safe, and comfortable. most of all, i am happy and worry free. right now i'm smiling really, really big. i'm so delighted in the lord and his ways.

i'm still not completely settled in, though. i just about wrote "settled in to lincoln" but in all honesty, were i to be anywhere and feeling as i do now, there would still need to be a few more things to happen to make the settling more concrete. i've very much missed some routines that i used to do and can't wait to get back in to the 80's night and yia yia's thing. and lastly some other things but those will have to wait 'till a later post.
